Summary
A long time ago, a strange and powerful being known as Bill Cipher was killed before he could trigger an apocalyptic event known as Weirdmageddon. Despite this, the world, including the state of Blake Hill, had already been changed irrevocably, becoming a surreal and absurd place where the laws of reality no longer apply. In a world where ink drips from the ceiling, slime girls exist, and time runs backwards in some areas (just to name a few), a footballer with a robotic arm, a tech-obsessed Brit, a genetic-engineered catgirl, an equally-genetically-engineered girl genius, and a cyborg Aussie learn to live in this new world, all the while a group of three government-hired agents try to stop a couple of former thiefs and their horny supervillainess roommate. Henry just got revived by the mysterious and solitary Dr. Vinschpinsilstien, but she doesn't want him to get his revenge on the Toppat Clan, who betrayed him - rather quite, due to Henry's current physical and mental state, Dr. Vinschpinsilstien decides to keep him for herself for now so she can baby him (back to health). Summary
Charles had always been perceived as gifted. He was the youngest pilot, but extremely good at his job. He was capable of manoeuvring through tough spots, things that other pilots would have been hesitant to do. He was remarkably calm under most circumstances, carrying a carefree and can do attitude that created a positive energy within the military force.
Unfortunately, the government was full of emotionally exhausted people. Young recruits not yet accustomed to their job gravitated towards him, before growing cynical like many around. There was only a handful of others that were like him, but they were spread so far thin that he didn't see them much.
So it was safe to say that Charles was a little lonely.
