Summary
"Are you going to help—" he began but his words cut short as Baela used her free hand to lift her nightdress up just enough to free her knees. In one swift motion she straddled him, settling herself atop him with a satisfied smirk.
"Are you going to stop complaining?" she teased.
With practiced ease she reached to the side to place the small cup on the bedside table. Then, leaning forward, she set to work on the barrettes at the front of his head, untangling the mess their daughter had left behind.
As Baela worked on his hair her movements were torturous. With each tug of a barrette her weight and warmth swayed atop him.
Jace let out a long-suffering sigh, his hands coming to rest on her thighs to steady her. "Must you fidget so?"
"Must you complain so?" she shot back, not pausing her efforts for even a moment. "I'm doing you a kindness."

Jace is six and twenty now, he’s been married for eight years and has been the Prince of Dragonstone for just as long. Two years prior he became overwhelmed with the busy court life in the capital. So he and Baela moved back to their childhood home, Dragonstone, to settle down and raise their girls together.
