Summary
Caroline Forbes wakes up in a hospital bed, and Elena is there. This story is well known in the canon until it's not.
Now Caroline wakes up in a different time, unaware of what is happening.
She meets a family who takes her in and helps her adapt to this time she is now in and everything that comes along with this new change in her life. However, there is still a part of her that longs to be back home with her friends.
