It hurt, painfully so, but it was funny because suddenly she realized that her and Derek had traded places. she had become the one trading guys like books at the library while Derek had a nice date at home with his stable girlfriend.
Or, the one where Casey is too blind to realize Derek feels something for her in return and so she keeps her secret bottled up until it explodes (sort of, not really) from her one night.
