Dr. Naomi Hunter, the Dean of Medicine and Chief Hospital Administrator at Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, as well as Dr. Miller's overseer and boss, is more aware of this than she would like to be. The Head of the Psychology Department, Dr. Hal Emmerich, approves of his colleague's excitable endeavors and poor workplace choices almost less than she does. Yet, he almost constantly finds himself being dragged down into every one of the Diagnostic Medicine Department Head's self-inflicted problems.
This latest offense with the cigarettes proves to be no different.
