Summary
Instead of Buffy jumping into the portal, Dawn surprises everyone and does it as she believes it's the only way to make sure it closes and never opens again. She doesn't die or just cease to exist like she expects. When she opens her eyes, it's to find herself with new memories in another world with both her mom and sister gone. Her last living relative, and now legal guardian, isn't who she expected either.
