Scientific progress is a double-edged blade. This has been true for as long as hu'mens sought to understand the mysteries of the world around them. For what could be worth the cost of obtaining the deep and unfathomable knowledge of the universe? Is it worth the time? The effort? One life or many? Is it worth selling one's very own soul to discover the key to victory for a battle long-fought but never won?
Commander Erol wanted nothing more than to ensure the safety and longevity of Haven City. To defeat the metalhead nest that had plagued his home for centuries and finally bring about an era of peace many had long thought would be impossible.

After killing both Baron Praxis and Kor, Jak is still angry. Thinking he can fix all of Haven’s problems, he takes over as leader. But his intentions make everything worse. Daxter, who no longer believes in his friend, escapes from him with Keira to restart the underground and take down this new threat. But Daxter still believes his friend can be saved from the dark eco that is tearing Jak apart.

Maia is tired of hiding herself. Dark Eco has given her an obscenely buxom and curvaceous body, with heaving breasts bigger than her upper half, and wide, matronly hips bearing fat cheeks that DEMAND attention. Lurking in the shadows has become dreadfully boring for Maia, who wants to show herself to the world, and have them worship the very ground she walks on. Harboring ideas about usurping her brother and ruling the world instead of cleansing it, her flights of fancy encourage her to reveal herself to the hero early, and "test his mettle", so to speak.
