Summary: Liverpool, 1919. Hercule Poirot has just completed a case and is persuaded to celebrate the result in a club near the docks. Summary

So a meme floated around about doing the ultimate fun, warm, fuzzy cross over; Benoit Blanc and the Muppets. Silly, insane, and oddly comforting and fun. Nothing major, just a fun goofy story of a theft. In typical Muppet fashion lots of high jinks, shenanigans, and general silliness

And Benny being in the midst of it. Why? Cuz Daniel Craig seems to relish this character. Not to bite the hand that feeds you MILLIONS but he seems relaxed and relieved to NOT be Bond. Instead being this off-beat, off-center, brilliant southern detective.

So the point of this story? Big Bird’s pillow is missing! Benny is visiting his friend Kermit and is called in to help in the case! Yes, Benny and Kermit are friends. Of course they are cuz… why not. And of course the Muppet-verse is easily connected to Benny’s world cuz… well, I’m the writer and I say so! So there! Nyah!

The mystery is solved after a roller-coaster chase, a pillow fight, and three musical numbers one of which involved Benoit Blanc doing aerials.

We are at the stories end. Benny must head home. The two friends say good bye.

    Summary

"I prefer to think on these things I see," Poirot said. "I do not intend to speak on them until it is time to pass judgement."
"Your own judgement, or that of the law?"

Holmes shifted to light a cigarette; Poirot could just see his face, in the milky light of the coming dawn.
"Are they not the same thing?"

Two somewhat broken detectives meet, and perhaps they heal, just a little.
A canon/Branagh!Poirot crossover; a meeting between a retired Sherlock Holmes and a young Poirot.

    Summary

She spotted him as the bright stage lights went out.

Sitting alone in the dim auditorial space, the square silhouette of his body emerged from the shadows, the face still concealed in darkness. His appearance looked as correct and flawless as ever, but this night the tremendously confident man appeared to her so vulnerable, almost fragile – though entrancingly courageous.

This is a sequel to the magnificent closing scene of Death on the Nile, in which Poirot will have to face his deepest fears — and perhaps also something rather unexpected.

    Summary

Maeve's life has been anything but ordinary. Born in 1920s Ireland and thrust into a world of tragedy, resilience, and uncanny powers, her journey takes her from the sunlit streets of Maycomb to the gritty alleys of New York City, from the Orient Express to the depths of a Hydra base.
Adopted by both heroes and misfits, Maeve finds herself navigating friendships and rivalries between the Jets, the Sharks, the Avengers, and the X-Men—all while discovering her ability to command water and her unyielding determination to protect those she loves.

    Summary

“Monsieur,” the voice said once more, sounding aggrieved.
Blast it. Hercule turned sharply about, seeking out the fool who was fouling this moment, who was cutting short the only peace he had found in these last, bitter weeks.
    And there—
    And there—
Hercule was on his feet and stumbling forward, his hands out and reaching toward—
“Bouc,” he said, the word, like a prayer, stumbling out past his numb lips. “Bouc!”

Or, the reports of Bouc's death were greatly exaggerated. Hercule takes it well.

    Summary

“We didn’t do it.” The Hungarian repeated while he fiddled with the rope, his previous shouting mellowed into an almost pitiful whisper. Vitale was close enough for the younger man to headbutt him if he wanted to, or knee him in the face as soon as he could move his leg again, although it wouldn’t do his situation any good. “We’re not killers.”

He had to admit their suspect had a striking gaze, clear green like the Venetian canals on their better days. Yet the flowing waters were deeper than they had ever been when in another’s eyes.

“When a crime has been committed, I can, by application of order and method and the slow extinguishing of my own soul find, without fail or doubt, whodunit.”

Poirot has locked himself up in his home again, wishing to see no one. When he is injured, he needs help around his home until he's fully on the mend. A woman is hired as his temporary caretaker. Despite the fact that they don't speak the same language, perhaps she is precisely the sort of puzzle Poirot needs to push him back into his all-important detective work.

    Summary

Dr Ferrier’s life will end today, it has to, he is not sure how much longer he can go on living like this. Before he can die he must leave his final words to his son… his goodbye… his parting piece of advice.

(There’s only one story in this fandom and I want to change that, a haunting in Venice is literally my favourite thing with the Ferrier’s being my favourite father son duo, so here we are, spreading the good word of Agatha Christie and Poirot)
