Summary
When you lose everything - your lover, your love, your friends, your home, your very identity - how do you even start to rebuild a life?
He’d been hiding since the funeral. But after a tenday, he couldn’t stay away any longer.
The headstone was rough against his thumb as he rubbed his fingers over the letters of her name absently, wishing it was her skin he could trace, longing for her heat and sweat and violence. This cold silence was everything she wasn’t.
“What am I supposed to do now, love?” He whispered into the dark, knowing there’d be no response, still hoping despite himself.
This is a follow-up to Taters, from Astarion's POV.

Summary
She nods, her eyes skimming over the lists. "Oh, I'm sorry, could you have this translated? I'm afraid my Elvish isn't quite there yet."
“Elvish? That's all plain common.” he replies, as if it's the most obvious thing in the world.
“All of it?” she repeats, incredulous.
Thiriann suppresses a sigh. She'll be in for a long night.
"Alright. And for which date do you want them delivered?”
"Oh,delivery won't be necessary. I'll have them tonight."
Thiriann's eyes widen. "Tonight?" she echoes, disbelief coloring her voice. The sheer volume of the order, coupled with the strange, almost archaic language, is overwhelming. And on top of that, the list is handwritten.
She tries to read a few of the items but can't make heads or tails of it, his handwriting, while graceful as all elven handwriting seems to be, is also nearly impossible to decipher. There's no doubt this man has a history in medicine.

Summary
"I'm not stupid, he wants to scream. He has feelings. He can think for himself. Please just try to understand me, he wants to beg. But all he can do is sob and whimper. Like some fucking dog."
Astarion has always gone for the soft targets. Those who nobody would miss, those who are big and stupid enough to fall for his seductive words and follow him home. Bear seems like exactly that target: quiet, a bit dumb, and friendly. The fact he can't speak is a slight problem but in the face of illithid parasites, it's not much of a challenge. Bear will fall just like the rest.
Or: Mute tav and shitty Astarion.

Summary
On a surface level, Astarion knew what a knot was. Only certain infernal bloodlines had them, though he’d never bothered remembering which ones. It was a different matter entirely to see one on someone he’d slept with. Someone who hadn’t knotted before.
Art pops a knot when getting Loviatar's blessing. Astarion is understandably confused.
AKA the tiefling knotting fic that no one asked for.

Summary
Bailey looks back down at the man, spattered with crimson, eyes wide open in terror. He still has the top half of his head, miraculously, even if he was robbed of his life. They sigh, their heart heavy and hope he didn't have too many to leave behind. “I'll put it to good use, I promise.” They lean down and press his eyelids closed. “If you pray to any Gods, I hope they find you and keep you in good hands.”
Bailey wasn't a religious sort. Whatever they couldn't do with their own two hands they certainly wouldn't trust a God to do for them - but they respected those who valued the safety and guidance that came from worship.
“Hopefully they don't have anything in store for me, either.” Heaving a loud, long breath Bailey ventures forward, their shoes leaving tracks along the shoreline.
That was how it all would begin.

Summary
The silence settled between them, Gale’s expression softening, the realization of Astarion’s torment dawning in his eyes. “Astarion…” he murmured, thoughtful, his voice dropping to something close to reverence. “This… urge—it isn’t your own?
It’s… involuntary? It’s like in the cave, right? With the pollen?” Gale’s voice was steady, but there was a certain knowing edge to it, a familiarity that made Astarion’s shoulders tense.
He straightened, caught off-guard. “How would you know?”

Gale Dekarios doesn't know when he first read about the end of the world. He didn't honestly think the end of the world would happen in his lifetime, nevermind outside of fiction.

And that he really needs to get out of this fucking restaurant.

What if Astarions simple plan fell apart in act 1? What if tav decides to take comfort in Gale's arms after Astarion harshly rejects her? Takes place after immediately after slaughtering the goblins in act 1. Possible eventual smut (I've never written smut so we'll see.) *Disclaimer you could still read this as kind of a one shot but I dont have intentions on continuing this for a hot minute but I'm gonna leave it up because who knows*

Summary
For a split second, Astarion thought he got lucky. He could stand in the sun again, free of the Master who had plagued him for two centuries, his own person for the first time in longer than he could remember. Yet his victory was short lived, reality crashing down like the mindflayer ship around him when he found out that the very tadpole that was protecting his freedom would eventually turn him into something even worse than the monster he already was. Now burdened with more than one type of unwelcome traveling companion, he couldn't help but yearn for a way to make his sun tolerance permanent, and a certain charming bard with unreadable golden eyes might just end up being the key to freedom.
Follows the ‘good’ Astarion romance track from Astarion’s point of view.

The tiefling straightens, lifts their visor with one hand and -
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me."
"Asty."
"Tyiye."
✿✿✿
Out of all the hundreds and thousands of talents Astarion possesses, fixing his completely useless car isn't one of them. Possibly because it's manual labour and he's never been eager to chip a nail over something as drab as a broken headlight. But the damned thing needs fixing. Again. And again. And then again, again.
And the mechanic who always repairs it is the worst thing to ever happen to him.
