Albedo stood at his desk, scribbling furiously in his notebook and flipping between pages as he referenced previous entries. Sucrose stood by a series of alchemical equipment, something bubbling away as she fiddled with pressure valves.
Both alchemists had a piece of fabric drawn tightly over their nose and mouth, neither bothering to greet you amongst the chaos, which was fine, because you were far too busy staring openly at the man sitting in the middle of the lab.
With a stiff back and tense posture, Diluc Ragnvindr turned to meet your gaze from the wooden chair.

Kaeya’s head tilted, a dry, breathless scoff slipping out. “You think I wanted this? You think I planned for any of this?”
“I think you always manage to find a way to make things complicated.” Diluc growled, stepping forward now, barely able to keep his voice from breaking.
“That may be so,” Kaeya hissed, “but we’re all stuck here now.”
