Summary
(Previously Dark Horse (The Underdog))
Change is a scary thing for everyone, and Lance is no exception to that fear. He is terrified of the uncertainty that comes with things being out of order and out of place. He thought everything was fine until Keith showed up in his life. Everything was okay before Keith showed up. Now Keith is like a giant stick in the spindles of Lance's bicycle and bringing everything to a standstill. Neither of them know what moves to make next, neither of them know if their next move will result in their final checkmate. Lance is no fool, he knows what checkmate means for a game of chess. But when that game is his own life, everything suddenly seems ten times more daunting.
