Summary
“You’re brilliant on the racetrack, kid, but you’re stupid everywhere else. I can’t believe you went out there in this condition!”
“What? I couldn’t just throw the race!” He jabbed a finger at Doc. “You told me to give you my best and I did. If I don’t race, my sponsors will drop me. That’s the way it works!”
Lightning races sick, causing his mentor no small amount of worry. As Doc probes the situation further, he realizes there’s more to the kid’s behavior than a simple cold.
