“Paper,” he grouses. Aside from boot trodden scraps and books like this, or the faded, torn adverts in windows, Clint cant remember the last time he saw a sheet of useable paper. He certainly can’t recall a time when paper was common enough to be wasted folding into pretty shapes.
Still, there are enough image inserts, enough diagrams, he can do this without paper.

In the middle of the night, Clint is woken up to some guy panicking over a dog he just brought home. Clint being the nice guy he is gives the guy a little help, with just a bit of sarcasm, then goes to bed. Totally forgetting about it. Until the next morning when the same guy texts him and apologizes. It's weird that he keeps their conversations going, but there is something about the guy he likes and he doesn't see any harm in it.
Bucky should not have taking the dog home. But the little ball of fur was just to cute not to. Now he has no idea what to do with it. With Steve out on a mission, he calls Sam. Or he thinks he does. Until the next morning when he tells at the bird brain for hanging up on him, and the other man has no idea what he is talking about. He apologizes to the poor guy he had to have woken up, and the guy doesn't seem bothered at all. and that is the start their friendship.
