Summary
It started with the desperate cries for help in his dreams, an entire planet dying. It was always the calls for help, a plea to save just a handful, just a legacy, just a child. They needed someone, anyone, to save them, but Stephen was always too late, the lack of any memory of the civilization's history and state was telling of a threat much larger. He can't do this alone, he needs all the help he could get, the question of who, how and why had remained out of reach of his understanding and all he could ever do was experience their pain and their horror.
Until a chance encounter took him to a path he had not expected and for all his limited understanding of the multiverse and the Dark Dimension, nothing could have prepared for him for an organisation that called itself the Time Variance Authority.
And certainly not expecting that he would be teaming up with someone who wanted to stab him a long time ago.

One day a woman asks for help to save her baby's life and the Dread One answered the call, the child was saved and was now turned into his own son, but that was only the beginning of the story, the lives of the three became intertwined from that moment on and because of this for the first time ever in the Dark Dimension there was a home, but it was not meant to last.

I'm making this fanfic to fill in Doyle Dormammu's backstory and to make up for the little we know about what Dormammu is like as a father (probably bad, but I still want to know). The mother's backstory, her name, and the dynamics of the three main characters are my headcannon, but several events are part of the comics canon.
I also mention that there will be themes of angst and emotional manipulation because remember Dormammu is a villain, living with him is not great. -
