Summary
A human boy orphaned by mutants joins Orchis. A mutant girl orphaned by humans defends Krakoa. Their shared history of pain forges them into perfect enemies, leading to a single, violent confrontation that leaves them both shattered.
Forced to confront the monsters they've become, they must walk separate paths of atonement. But after sacrificing their humanity for their cause, is there anything left of their souls to save?
Author's Note: This story follows Marvel comics canon up until the events of the Hellfire Gala 2023/ Fall of X. From that point on, it is Canon-Divergent. In this timeline, Orchis remains a major global power.
