Duke the narrow gauge engine has spent his life learning to accept his past. Everything from his early days spent in fear of his manager on the Ffestiniog to his prejudices, his parenting, his successes and his failures. But one thing that has always hung over his smokebox has been his relationship with his siblings - the same siblings who helped him save a sinking ship but also gave him up to the manager. The same siblings who worked for the railway that sent horrific letters to him and his crew - so when Flying Scotsman arrived with a dire message for the old engine, it was to his own surprise that he decided to go to Wales and see his siblings.
