Summary
It wasn't until what they had thought was the devil itself had descended upon their world that Ilene and Ling Chen realized that what they'd been chasing wasn't the lost stories or myths, but the missing angel they never knew they'd forgotten. Now that was gone, she was dispersed to helplessness and the world had fallen to darkness, to insanity. The one who had become their angel, the one who they had followed ever since they had found her, was scattered to fragments of her former self.
What could they do? Their world was shattered, the true Devil had come for them and their angel was gone.
But who said she was ever the only angel?
