Summary
But the world was cruel.
You couldn’t be one of the richest families in the city and then expect that no one would crave your position in class. Elizabeth knew that, and yet she screamed when she heard the heavy footsteps of what it seemed like a group of men breaking down her wooden fence and ran off to the back yard of her villa , guns and a box of gunpowder and pistols in hand .
So Elizabeth did the brightest thing that came up to her mind ; protect C’yra, her only child.
Alternative ;My modern au headcanon on how Catra ( or C'yra , here) end up orphan. Also, the cutest lesbians I could picture

Elizabeth, a four-year-old girl, finally visits her father's workplace, FantasticPizzeria. Expecting a fun, whimsical place, she instead finds a creepy, rundown establishment. Her father, Don, tries to reassure her, but Elizabeth remains uneasy. As she approaches the ball pit, she suddenly falls into a surreal, endless descent. Emerging in a vibrant, past version of the pizzeria, Elizabeth meets two kids and realizes she’s somehow traveled back to the 1980s.

Summary
The story centers around Charlotte, a young girl who feels the weight of impending loneliness as the school year nears its end. She reflects on how she and her friends have always spent time together after school, even if their plans didn’t always come to fruition. With summer vacation approaching, Charlotte dreads the separation from her friends, knowing they live far apart.
At a playground, Charlotte hesitantly expresses her feelings about not wanting school to end because she will miss her friends. A heated argument erupts among her friends—Charlie, Jeremy, and Anthony—over a misunderstanding, but it is quickly resolved by Michael, who mediates. Comforted by her friends’ reassurances that they will stay in touch over the summer, Charlotte briefly feels better.
However, her moment of happiness is cut short when her father, William Stitch, arrives in an intimidating manner. His disheveled appearance and harsh tone create a tense atmosphere as he abruptly drags Charlotte away without allowing her to say a proper goodbye. As Charlotte leaves, she feels a mixture of hope and unease, uncertain about the future and whether spending time with her friends during the summer is a good idea after all.
