Summary
When Dorothy Gale tried to vanquish the Wicked Witch of the West as ordered to by the Wonderful Wizard of Oz by way of melting her, she accidentally also splashed the pages of the Grimmerie, inciting/triggering its' magic and whisking them *ALL* away- meaning the Witch, herself, and her little dog Toto, too. As a result, everyone in the land of Oz sorrowfully thinks that both she and the other Wicked Witch are dead... but they couldn't be more wrong.
No- nonono! Instead, Dorothy Gale, Miss Elphaba Thropp-Diggs, and Toto are whisked back Over the Rainbow... but NOT *back to Kansas*. Where DO they end up, then??? In New York, New York, it turns out- where Dorothy is adopted by the not-so-Wicked witch who becomes a nurse/doctor since she still wants to make good.
One of her patients just so happens to be a certain former puppet-boy no more Wicked than she... and *HIS aunt* (who happens to be a FAERIE rather than a sorceress)?? Well, she eventually becomes 'Mama Elphie's' *BELOVED* and a surrogate aunt to the sweet sweet boy mainly known as either 'Pinoke(s)' or 'Nocchi...
But Elphaba and Dorothy Gale's adventure/journey is FAR FROM over, it turns out...
