A collaborative fic written by LadyJekyll and Illuminescence – with the prompt “Fake Dating”. Alternating chapters from Alex’s PoV and Greg’s PoV (by Illuminescence and LadyJekyll respectively), we surprised ourselves, tossed the hot potato of plot twists and cliffhangers at each other, and ended up with 40k of flirting, misunderstandings, and fake dates! “He might be,” Greg agreed, while Alex shook his head firmly, belied by his blush creeping ever closer to fuchsia, “but I’m not. So if we disagree on whether Jack gets the points—”
Alex scratched the side of his head, looking genuinely uncomfortable. “Well, you’re the Taskmaster,” he reminded Greg. “So at the end of the day—”
Baba piped up, grinning. “You know what this is like, yeah? This is like one of them videos where they have the dog, right, and the two owners, and they make the dog pick between them.”
