Summary
Amity Blight has possibly the worst luck in the world.
She's dragged to the Emperor's Palace of all places after beating up multiple coven officials, all because her pretentious mother can't get over her having a life of her own. It can't go too badly, right?
That's what she thinks until a familiar face - or mask - is assigned to show her around.

Summary
“Luz,” Amity says slowly, turning towards her slowly. His threats are imminent in her ears (“We know where to find you. And your human.”) “Why is he here?” And why are you not attacking him? Why aren't I?
The Golden Guard doesn't scare her- it's what he can do to the person she cares about, the most, that frightens her to death. It's the mulchy soft spot Luz has towards strays, strays like her that scares her.
Luz doesn't laugh, she looks grave, for once and that's when Amity knows that it's much more serious. -

Summary
Hunter grieves the loss of a friend.
He's betrayed his uncle, and by proxy his entire coven.
After losing everything-somehow- there's still a chance for him to start over. He finds that chance in the arms of a human he's just met and an outlaw he'd tried to kill on more than one occasion.

Summary
The two Wittebane brothers travel to Eclipse Lake with company in tow in the hopes of finding mystical “Titan’s Blood” to travel back home. Philip grows restless to leave the Boiling Isles while his brother, Balder, can’t seem to get enough of it. Regardless, his insistence has led them on the track to eventually get home- although Philip may leave empty handed in more ways than he ever anticipated.
SPOILERS FOR ECLIPSE LAKE AND YESTERDAY'S LIE, although the majority of the events in this fic take place in the 1600s. It chronicles around the "Fool's Blood" entry from Eclipse Lake, although uses the information we learned from Yesterday's Lie to inform how that exactly went back then, specifically.

Guilt.
That was how Amity identified the throbbing in her heart; she kept thinking about the portal key being crushed in her hands, the Titan’s blood on her glove, the fact that her girlfriend now had less chances of returning to home. She wanted to apologize, it was all her fault, she should have fought harder, she shouldn’t have given Hunter the key –even though the key was useless now, even though she had to, otherwise the Emperor’s coven was going to hunt Luz down and Amity wanted to protect her.
But it didn’t matter, she had failed and she knew Luz had every right to be upset at her, to even think about breaking up with her.Or

"Hey, Luz" she replied, handing the Latina one of the mugs of tea. "How was your little adventure with Eda and King earlier?" Luz asked as she blew on the scalding liquid. It was meant to be the opener to a casual conversation, but Amity hadn't actually told her about the key yet.

---
After a slight mishap with trying out his new Palisman, he ends up crashing (quite literally) into the very place he's not supposed to interact with, he gets help from Luz the human in learning how to fly with a Palisman, use one, and even learn a few of the glyphs the human's discovered. -

Summary
“I really regret somehow being able to understand you now,” Hunter managed to complain between the harsh intakes of air. “I don’t- I don’t care what you think of the Emperor, stupid bird. If that’s not clear enough already.”
(With everything he had, he loyally threw himself toward Emperor Belos, all to hoard the small amount of genuine satisfaction he expressed when Hunter succeeded. If his uncle was as senselessly cruel as the human and her crew thought, using him and everyone else as pawns, he hardly cared. At least he had the opportunity to be a useful one, and hear him say it.)

After the high of reciprocated feelings dies down, Luz and Amity have a lot to talk about regarding their relationship. When Lumity becomes canon, I'm overwhelmed with the urge to write a one shot at 2am. (Now with two chapters because I couldn't NOT write something after watching Eclipse Lake).

“I have to tell you something. About the mission.”
“Okay! But do you mind if I ask you something first?”
Least to say, Amity was not expecting that, and immediately a thousand scenarios were suddenly running through her head, all assuming the worst.
“Um, sure thing.” She stammered. “What’s it about?”
“Did you manage to figure out the messages I sent you?”
Or: Amity figures out the first message Luz sent to her
