Blinking several times to refocus his mind, he decides to stare at the ground as he tries to comprehend everything that B’Elanna is saying about force fields and Sporosistian energy. He does a good job up until the moment Kathryn shifts her hip to the side and kicks up her foot. His brain literally short circuits when she leans her weight on the toe of her boot.
Blatantly following the path up her long legs, he imagines that she is once again blissfully naked in his dark quarters, her breathless sighs charging the air as the tips of his fingers memorize every inch of skin.
