Summary
Kurt's giggles die out as the bottle slows to a halt in front of him and his wide smile falters. It's not that he doesn't want to kiss Blaine, because he really, really does. It's just that Blaine is drunk, and he's not, and he wants Blaine to want to kiss him, instead of just kissing him over a stupid drunken party game.
Plus, what if Blaine refuses? Can he even handle that rejection? What if Blaine, after Kurt's confession after valentine's day, doesn't want to encourage Kurt's feelings and turns Kurt down in front of all his friends? He can't think of any worse humiliation.
And yet, Blaine doesn't seem to exhibit the hesitance Kurt expects. Instead, he's smiling almost wide enough to split face in half and shuffling closer to Kurt. Kurt allows himself to start smiling again and can feel his face start to heat up, and leans tentatively towards Blaine, prepared for his third ever kiss. He's actually started to get excited now.

Blaine's comment to Burt about his father was his first ever cry for helpKurt notices that Blaine doesn't talk about his family very much, but after they started dating, Blaine has slowly been bringing up his mother every so often, all it's all negative things, or Blaine complaining about her.
And the more Blaine talks about how awful his mom is, the more he seems to feel comfortable doing so, and he keeps bringing her up more and more.
Finally, Kurt loses his temper and tells Blaine to stop being so ungrateful, that he's lucky his mother is alive to be awful to him, that he should be happy even has a mother at all. Blaine gets very quiet, and he apologizes, and after that, he never brings up his mother to Kurt again.
But what Kurt doesn't know is that Blaine's mother is very abusive, and Blaine was trying to gather up the courage to tell someone, finally. -
