Summary
Kate and Juliet wake up one morning handcuffed to each other in the middle of the jungle, but that doesn't mean they're ready to call a truce. They spend the better part of their day pushing each other buttons, taunting each other, fighting and hurting each other at every chance they get.
When the night falls, after the rain and a bigger threat force them to find refuge, they have no other option but to face each other and deal with the tension that had been building between them since the moment they met.

“Yes, Kate, I do have a problem with your plan,” Juliet said.
She stood her ground, even when Kate tried to ignore her and pull her along by the handcuffs. Eventually the brunette had to stop in place and turn around to face her. She gave an impressively annoyed sigh, but its effect was reduced by how silly they looked with their arms hanging between them because of how far apart they were standing from each other.
“If we’re going to keep wandering the jungle handcuffed to each other, and after you made me run around in the rain, punched me in the face, and dislocated my shoulder, the least you could do is take the time to stop for breakfast.”

After Kate and Juliet spend a day and night handcuffed together, they are forced to take a moment to rest. Unwillingly, they get to know each other better and, surprising themselves, they discover that under the current of resentment and hostility toward each other, there's more. They finally have a moment to explore the interest and unexpected attraction they feel for each other.
