Summary
Jimmy's the new rancher in town, and despite having no experience raising livestock, is determined to make it in this life after finding himself as the owner of his late grandparents property. Tango is a wayward ranch hand who has been fired from every job he's ever had, and is desperate for any work he can get. Despite his reservations, Jimmy hires Tango to help out on the ranch. While Jimmy tries to hide the slow spiral of debt the ranch is falling into in order to keep Tango employed, Tango tries to hide that he's living in his pickup truck on the edge of Jimmy's land.
After a rocky start, they start learning to work together better, and each begins to realize that they have feelings for the other. Eventually, things come to a head on an evening filled with whisky spiked lemonade, and they find that they can give each other what they need, in more ways than one.

“So you don’t want me to play in MCC?” Tango said.
“Well, if you want to, I won’t stop you,” Scott’s voice came out quieter than he meant. He couldn’t meet Tango’s gaze. The sparse room was full of small touches from other people, the other hermits, but he couldn’t feel their magic. Compared to the life and beauty upstairs and the electric nature of Decked Out, this was empty. Lonely. “I was thinking something closer to dinner?”
"Like us, together? Or with Jimmy? I know you two--"
"That's... complicated," Scott swallowed the lump in his throat.
Or: Scott's been falling in love with Tango for two years. It takes a spur of the moment decision for him to do anything about it. Takes place at the end of Hermitcraft season 9 right after Secret Life ends.

Summary
Jimmy wondered why he competed in the games, sometimes.
Maybe it's because they remind him of Scott, and being reminded of Scott was always a nice feeling. Maybe because it thrilled him, death nipping at his heels from the first day and the fleeting, wondering thoughts of when it would catch up to him. Maybe it was the simple fact that it made his brother happy, and seeing someone close to him happy made him happy. Whatever it was, it wasn’t worth it to watch six people slide bags of coins across the table and into the betting pool, all with his name written across them.
Everyone bets that Jimmy will confess with his soulmate first during Double Life. He sets out to prove them wrong.

The last thing Scott remembers thinking, was how fun it’ll be to finally get his memories back and talk endlessly with his friends about how well their game went.
Scott’s health reached zero.
His world went dark.

Or, in order to keep things interesting and unpredictable during the traffic games, Grian thought it’d be a good idea to have the memories of everyone’s past relationships erased before the start of each session.
So far, every previous session has been a blast. But things become complicated at the end of double life when Scott realizes that his boyfriend in the real world went out and got a whole other boyfriend during the game. All while having no memory of him.
The next upcoming life game is sure to be an awkward one…

Summary
Jimmy falls in love during a death game. It's risky and uncertain but it works out for him.
All is good until Empires starts season two and then double life rolls in where he gets bound to another man. Despite his best efforts, Jimmy can't help falling in love again. Feelings get hurt and things are awkward for a while, back on empires.
Just as it seems like Scott and Jimmy could leave double life behind them, the hermits come through the rift. A oblivious Tango expects to continue with his soulmate where double life ended.
Suddenly the canary is pulled in two directions at once as Tango and Scott demand to know, who Jimmy wants to be with.
