Summary
"'You don’t go for married women.'
'I misspoke - I don’t go for happily married women. Devoted women.'
No attachments, no consequences, just a few nights of uninhibited passion - that's all it was ever supposed to be between them. No longing or dreadful desire, nothing that would prompt a divorce. Just shameless, guiltless sex.
Nothing more."
After a decade of marriage and conflicting life goals, a struggling Hermione and Ron decide to take part in a rather extreme experiment to improve their relationship. Following the guidance of her sister-in-law, Hermione agrees to open their marriage, believing their issues stemmed from a lack of intimacy. But once she decides to participate herself - with a wizard who infuriates her husband like no other - Hermione realises just how recklessly naive they'd been all along.
