Summary
After the end of The Decayed, the souls of a select few who were stuck in the construct are unable to move into the arms of death. With no body to return to the souls drift through the multiverse until they are found by the watchers, who decide to use them in the Life games. In the wake of an epidemic, the Executives and Architect from the construct team up with the watchers, unintentionally causing a rift in spacetime. With the epidemic now spreading to the Watchers home universe, they reach out to other universes for help - and potential leads to a cure.
