Summary
Fourteen-year-old Cissnei, the youngest ever Turk, is on her first mission, accompanied by sixteen-year-old temporary recruit Tseng, who sees this job as a way to prove his worth to Commander Veld. They're accompanied by a red-haired troublemaker nicknamed Weasel whom they picked up along the way. Their race against time to find a stolen child takes them from one side of Midgar's slums to the other, and as they confront the various dangers that obstruct their path across the undercity they learn what it means to be a Turk.
