A Harry Potter Fanfiction:
In Magic IS Real (a Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Fanfic) Harry has a twin, Amaya. They are both orphans and live with the Dursley’s. One day just before their eleventh birthday, an owl tries to deliver a mysterious letter resulting in their life being changed forever. Secrets are revealed. The twins are wixen and they have been lied to about many things. As they uncover their heritage they think there can’t possibly be any more lies and surprises. Wrong. How deep these lies go we will not find out until the third book, and even then the lies and secrets will continue. Although our main character will be unaware that there is more to uncover about themselves, others, and the world around them.
The books will for the most part be canon compliant with some big but minor changes in the first two books and bigger changes starting in the third becoming more and more AU but still being the main story.

Hagrid has always looked at little boys and girls, but only looked! There was nothing wrong with looking! It wasn't like he was going to do anything. Only imagine doing things. Only imagine how he could get away with doing things. And he might know places darker than Knockturn Alley where a man can buy a muggle boy or girl, but he had never used those places.
He had never used those places because he was recognizable and too big to hide with no ability to use spells or brew potions that could hide him.
Hagrid only ever looked until he was finally sent out to fetch an eleven year old boy that was hated by his own family, and he finally saw someone that would never be missed. Someone who was desperate enough to make any vows needed to get away from his terrible family. Someone he could have absolute ownership over.
