“How’s 9 p.m. sound? And this can be our meeting point?” He’d asked, with a hint of a chuckle, or maybe it was a challenge in his voice. Like he knew what this was doing to Felix. Like he was daring him to say no to something so painfully ridiculous.

“Aw Feeee, it’s so romanticccc,” Annette was crooning, as Felix snatched the top container of his leftover chinese from the shelf and shuffled towards his bedroom, only pausing to grab a fork.
“It’s not romantic,” he grumbled. It was embarrassing. Nerdy. So, so lame. But Felix’s cheeks were burning as he dug into his lo mein, unable to keep the image of Sylvain’s smile appearing on the insides of his eyelids every time he blinked. This was already becoming a huge problem.
