Summary
"Unknown Infection affecting humans and animals alike as it spreads rapidly through Canada."
It probably wasn’t too bad of an infection, probably just another thing to give everyone a reason to quarantine for another year, which isn’t too bad. If anything it’s just some new variant of the flu that scientists are unable to find.
They were wrong.
Weeks pass and the entire world as we know it is thrown into oblivion, survivors forced to scavenge to survive, settlements forming and people forced to travel through the hellscape of the apocalypse.
As settlements were built, people are forced to reform society, with betrayal and death around every corner as they fight off the undead, meeting new allies and friends as a greater enemy than the undead is revealed.

Or; I make a post apocalyptic story in my mind as I write and somehow try to keep it linear, going to be fun :)
