As they stand on the podium, listening to the final strains of the French anthem, Doriane looks up to the sky. This is her destiny, and she feels a burden lifted from her shoulders – no matter what mean comments she gets about 'being a girl' or how 'girls can't drive', she knows they won't matter because one day, she’ll win an F1 race against male drivers and one day, F1 history will have her name etched firmly in it.
