Summary
This is the story of four years in the Paths with Eren and Mikasa. For Eren, it begins in the midst of battle. For Mikasa, it begins on a hillside overlooking a refugee camp. They're not quite in step, but Eren will always try again and Mikasa will always stay by his side. It's a story of walls and how they come down as Eren and Mikasa keep walking in the same direction. Together.

The battle of heaven and earth was seconds from ending—hopefully at the edge of Mikasa’s blade. The Mikasa standing in front of him was asking about returning to Paradis for Marley’s invasion that was never going to happen.

“You said that we came here because you couldn’t bear to start the Rumbling,” she said. “What’s really happening out there?”
“The same thing that has happened over and over through all of humanity’s history. The side with the power is beating back the side with less. It’s almost over. There’s just one more thing that depends on you.”

This is it, Eren and Mikasa's final year in the Paths. They can't ignore the end that's coming, but they keep fighting to find beauty in the garden despite the thorns creeping in. Here are some bonus scenes from year 4 highlighting how they've grown together living in the Paths.
Chapter 1 happens spring through fall and those scenes are titled "Just Another Night," "Strength," "Freeze," and "After the Beach, Before the Axe."
Chapter 2 has two scenes. "Memories of the Future" occurs in the fall and "Flowers and Forks" occurs in the winter.
