Alex couldn't say she had much people experience in general. Which was ironic, considering most of her life had been consistent with explosions of colors and other people's feelings—a stark contrast to her brother's, Gabe, which was more confined to reality and lived experiences.
So he seemed like the obvious contender for her to confide in about her... realization (probably not the right word since she'd known it for a while now, but whatever).
