Oneiros and The Oracle of Dodona walked the path of dreams many millennia ago. It is said a raven perched in a great oak tree happened only when they walked the path - Zeus' Oracle and the Lord of Dreams face to face once more.
Some time during the reign of Emperor Theodosius in the fourth century, they last met, and struck the covenant that would bind them endlessly. At the turn of every century, she would grant him a raven, and in turn, he would plant a great oak in the dreaming to safeguard that raven.
But Dream is gone. The Dodonian cannot help but wait for fate to unfold before the true tragedy begins.

That Gault—a nightmare, once a being of fear—had chosen to become something else entirely was a notion I was still getting used to.
Never before had I reshaped a nightmare into a dream, nor a dream into a nightmare. The distinction had always been absolute, a line never crossed. But now, here she was. The first of her kind. A possibility I had not considered before. If one could change, could others? Would they want to? Would they dare? And what, I wondered, would that make me, the one who governs them? Change in the Dreaming.

The Story-Star is a wandering goddess of storytelling formed from stardust by the dreams of children, and the Fates inform Morpheus that the girl would technically be his responsibility. He can either care for her or (having no followers left in The Waking to sustain her) The Story-Star will fade into oblivion as forgotten deity. Morpheus, better known as Dream, has always been fascinated by humans and their behaviors. After learning the value of human life from his sister Death, he wants to deepen his understanding of these complex beings. After averting the apocalypse, the fallen angel Crowley and the angel Aziraphale catch the attention of Dream of the Endless, who has been secretly watching them for some time. Intrigued by their concept of "love" and their long history in the walking world, Dream decides to approach them and learn more.
However, not everyone is pleased with the current state of affairs. Lucifer and Beelzebub, still eager to bring about Armageddon, plot to disrupt the harmony that Aziraphale, Crowley, and Dream have built. As the forces of Heaven and Hell converge once again, the trio must work together to protect the balance between good and evil, all while navigating their own complex emotions.
As the story unfolds, the trio must confront external threats, as well as their own internal demons (lol) in order to preserve their relationship and prevent the apocalypse from happening once again. -
