Summary
Deep in darkness, somewhere high above the heavens, there stood two people. Two swords drawn.
One, Zofia's Beloved.
The other, Rigel's Proven.
Their blades clashed, each wielder driving forth with what might and what will they had. Everything. Their desire to seize their dream tempered and honed, becoming their weapons themselves.
But only one struck, cutting the other down.
Rigel's Proven pierced through the heart of Zofia's Beloved.
So then did the princess fall, the price paid for a vision realized.
So then did the hero stand, blood the price now paid.
In this life, in this world, two were joined together by destiny. A destiny cruel, born from irony.
