    Summary

Once upon a time in New York City, a spunky orphan girl/foster kid and sweet hurt abandoned puppet-boy both go looking for their Dream- *their FAMILY*- and eventually find it where they least expect it...

Elphaba Margaret Cynthia Thropp-Diggs has *ALWAYS* been different- inwardly and outwardly. *No surprise there*, considering that she's the child of two very different worlds as well as a Witch born and GREEN: Oz and the good ol' USA, North America! (Not to mention an *AFFAIR child*, which didn't help matters in the least...) Will Stacks??? Fairly normal- just nearly as lonely and alone as 'the Wicked Witch of the West'. They're not exactly what you would call 'friends' much less *'besties'* like Elphaba and Boq Ethan Woodsman... but they're *friend-LY* enough with each other.

And then, one day, a hard-knock life becomes much easier and a rainbow appears in the sky as well as the Wishing Star... Or, Annie Bennett and Will Stacks and Pinocchio Orfano and Elphaba Thropp-Diggs accidentally meet and experience a feeling so SUDDEN and *new* and fervid as a flame the moment they respectively lay eyes on each other. Does it have a name?? *Yes*...!

    It's *LOVE*.

    Summary

We all know how very much both Geppetto and Thumbelina's mother wish for a child of their own in just about any universe, yes? ...Well, what happens when we mix the two stories together: Geppetto still gaining his long-wished-for little boy (emphasis on *LITTLE boy*) by way of a magical pine seed from a good witch?
Pinocchio is a sweet and kind lad who always tries his best to please his beloved Father and wants very badly to make friends, but is made fun of for being a 'goody-two-shoes' and/or not being like his fictive wooden counterpart like OTHER *'REAL' boys*; he loves his Father and their cat Figaro very much, but his large heart is still empty as Geppetto's was before 'Little Wooden-Head' came along... until one night, after a particularly bad day of bullying when he tried to go to school with the other children, he hears someone singing outside of his window and soon befriends the music-maker- Jiminy Cricket.

Some years down the line, 'Pinoke' and Jiminy are still best friends, but something more blossoms between them one starry night...

    Summary

Once upon a time in New York City...

A spunky orphan girl/foster kid and sweet hurt abandoned puppet-boy each go looking for Their Dream- *their family*, and eventually find it when they least expect it. It's definitely a *HARD-KNOCK life* at times, but tomorrow's always only a day away, and if you look hard enough, you CAN find the Wishing Star-!

Ginny Weasley and Will Stacks both fled from their previous lives many years ago- Ginny when she was just a kid. (She HAD TO.) They're not really any more close than Annie Bennett and Pinocchio Orfano, believing that they'll always be lonely and alone ...but one fateful day, their tunes change pretty quickly once they meet aforementioned foster chlidren.

Colleen Agatha Hannigan has *NEVER* really been fond of kids- especially (*ugh*) little girls. However, once a certain puppet-boy comes into the picture, little by little Ms. Grinch's small frozen hairy heart thaws and grows thanks to her newest foundling...

    Summary

-More-or-less, rewritten fairy-tales either popular or no concerning the 'crack' pairing of Doctor (In-Training) Victor Frankenstein's Creature | Monster and Pinocchio, because PLOT BUNNIES during writing of 'Workings of the Heart' *will not leave me alone*, dangit!! Occasionally instead actual horror/dark fantasy because *big fat flipping DUH*- *FRANKENSTEIN* and PINOCCHIO, or modern-with-magic.

    Summary

They were due to Be Married, though they'd *never before met*... Their parents were *THRILLED*- but both young grooms, for different yet similar reasons, were filled with REGRET...

Then, in a moment of panic and despair, 'Carlo' (*OOPS*!! Sorry- I mean, *Pinocchio*) desperately fled- and by a *GRAVE misunderstanding*, ...married the CORPSE groom instead. On first glance, he was 'awful' frightening, but on second and third, both quite handsome and charming as well as kind- he would *NEVER* be False! All that he seemed to lack was, well- *the beat of a pulse*...

THIS is a tale of wit, charm, and strife about a sweet timid young man and The Love of His Life- the *OTHER tale* of 'The Ghost of the Talking Cricket'.

    Summary

*Eeeeppp*- PROBLEM. Anne Hathaway plays a lot of similar characters to this 'Yoshioka Haru', and given the best-seller that's just released that features a brown-eyed brunette who's more akin to a Mary-Sue than, say, Belle from 'Beauty and the Beast'... NOBODY wants to risk having a MS in Ghibli's category!!

Solution, more-or-less: young Toon!Pinocchio from the Walt Disney Company is actually pretty much like their planned protagonist of 'The Cat Returns (semi-sequel/spin-off of 1995's 'Whisper of the Heart'), so- why not go with him?? After they get his father Geppetto's and Mickey Mouse's permission, of course...

It does not matter the least little bit: Baron and Louise are *NOT engaged*, much less in love! And boy or girl (or non-binary, even), Baron Humbert von Gikkingen is *SMITTEN* at first sight with a certain 'fetching' sweet adorable brave, truthful, and unselfish raven...

    Summary

And here Pinocchio Edward Benjamin Hall thought that this would be a simple pre-honeymoon/research trip for Sophie and Victor, with himself and Hector as tag-alongs; even with a visit to Juliet's house and meeting the ghost-writers of 'Letters to Juliet'- *HA*. *Yeah, right*...! Not that simple, when you find a letter or two written fifty years ago which you reply to because you feel as though you *HAVE TO write back*...

At least Mr. Woody's Scots grandson Sebastian is nice enough, same as Ms. Claire's own Charlie. And also at least, Pinocchio doesn't have a boyfriend or fiance to worry about-! (Which is good, because he can't really get the older male out of his mind...)

    Summary

Remember in 'Geppetto' where he storms out after Pinocchio gets into a fight at school and tells the Blue Fairy that Pinocchio is defective and he *DOESN'T want him anymore*, and this causes aforementioned very hurt and upset boy to run away to join Stromboli's puppet show?? ...Well, this time when Pinocchio runs away (with his conscience Jiminy Cricket and a runaway Figaro by his side) from 'home', he doesn't run towards fame and fortune onstage because he's not just a stringless puppet, but also a young child who simply wants love and affection from someone who cares for him unconditionally-!!

Somewhere along the way in the 'Magic Kingdom', he accidentally runs into and meets the 'evil' Royal Vizier Jafar ...who is not so horrid after all, but simply a very smart man who is as brokenhearted and lonely as Pinocchio ever since he lost his beloved wife Sherrezade and their unborn child. Could these two lost souls help to heal each other through the eventual story of a certain magical lamp, a spoiled princess, and a diamond in the rough (though NOT *quite* the way that you'd remember it being told) along with a couple more friends along the way; can Jafar succeed where Geppetto had failed...?
