It's simply astounding how outstanding this piece is. From what I can see, there is not a single misstep. Perhaps the best fanfiction I've ever read. Completely engaging and extraordinary vivid from start to finish, flirting with creepy at times. Only start if you have time to read it all in one sitting.

This went so far above and beyond the prompt. A very in-character story that takes place if Jim and Spock had met when the Federation was just being formed and Vulcans were still a war-loving race fueled by emotion. This story is more than it seems, and unlike any ST story I've seen before. Definitely worth a read!

I'm actually afraid to tackle the review for this one. The story is simply so good, I can't find the words to describe it. The best I can say is that is really places you inside Dean's head, and you coming away feeling like you know the characters better then ever. It's got a great happy ending too, one I'm not afraid to admit made me cry. I strongly recommend it!
