Louise teaches Heptapod B to Anadi and Anadi teaches the newly deciphered Heptapod A to Louise. Upon learning both languages, Anadi exists without time and realizes that she is a transgender woman known as Ada. Louise has known since returning from the shell, but knows this relationship with Ada happens after her marriage ends and her daughter Hanna is in her teens. [This story is not finished!]
