Summary
Bucky Barnes may have been awake for more of "modern times" than his best friend, but he wasn't exactly keeping up with things until recently. If there's one thing he's learned, it's that he can't expect *anything* to be the same. But somehow, he keeps doing just that. When he realizes he has feelings for his new partner-in-crime ("It is crime," he has to keep explaining to people. "This is technically vigilantism. It's illegal."), he's confident that if there's one thing that'll be the same, it will be that a man loving another man is "unnatural."
Apparently, he's wrong about that one, too.
