Summary
So there was a Somewhere Else after all. It just wasn’t the joyous opportunity for happy loving reunions that Jon and Martin had hoped.
First off, it wasn’t only them who went. It was many, many people affiliated with the Magnus Institute. Live and dead. Jonah, Annabelle, Jon, Martin, Sasha, Tim, Daisy, Basira, Gertrude, Gerry, Jane, Helen, Michael, Leitner, Fiona, and Emma and possibly others. Melanie and Eric Delano were spared because they’d quit but with how things were literally nobody would have been surprised if they’d found them at some point. Jane Prentiss’ presence was confusing at first but it dawned on them that she had died there so, poor suffering soul that she was, she got swept along in the chaos.
Second, it wasn’t “oh look, we have new lives! Let’s live them to the fullest!” It was “oh darn, we’re all stuck in this new institution that just happens to be a children’s combined primary and secondary school instead of an archive of the paranormal. We still can’t leave because we’re still tied because Jonah still owns the darn place.” He was the principal.

Summary
It ends how it began;
With blood and tears and heartache, with a world tearing and an Archivist dying, another body laid to rest beside him.
It ends how it should’ve begun, with heroism and sacrifice and too many lost, the good they brought about just enough to justify their missing presence.
It ends how it always does.
It ends with love.
A new world is born on the wake of ruin, something clean and forgiving, slate wiped clean.
But not yet;
First comes the end;The rest will follow in time.

Survival is the only option as the stakes grow higher, and soon they find themselves trapped between a rock and a hard place when confronted with a decision; keep what semblance of peace they've found, or sacrifice everything for the possibility of putting everything back to the way it used to be?

Summary
The night of the Kyuubi's attack, the Kyuubi "appeared out of nowhere." What happens when a large object suddenly becomes present? The air is shoved aside in a massive pressure wave. Massive pressure wave + infant eardrums = deaf baby. Deaf baby + miscommunication, panic, and exhaustion = no one actually knows who has the baby. Misplaced baby + growing hatred = toddler abandonment. Toddler abandonment + continuing hatred + deafness = confused child who had to make up the rules as they went.
The correlation between the actual rules and the invented rules is loose at best, but when the invented rules end up making more sense than the actual rules and the inventor is charismatic enough to get anyone to listen to him, what chaos ensues?
And once a terrible, immaterial, unfightable foe from Somewhere Else begins to claw out a foothold into their world, how can a strange child and their friends protect themselves and their precious people?
Listening to The Magnus Archives is not necessary to understand this work, but it's a really good horror podcast so I reccomend listening to it for that, if nothing else!

The man in the mirror looks just like him, but so different he might just be a stranger off the street, passing by and never meeting Jon at all, never knowing his name.”
“”You know what they think of you.” The man repeats.”
Or, Jon finds a mirror he is sure he recognizes, and it might or might not be cursed. He gets over it very quickly and easily, with no trouble at all. 😊 It doesn’t change a single thing. ☺️. Ignore the tags.

“It’ll be fine. We’ve both tried a few things out.”
“Strength, speed, invisibility …”
“I even did the laser eye experience, once, that was a real blast.. pun absolutely intended.”
Tim squeezed his shoulder, thereby, presumably, becoming extremely aware of Jon’s embarrassing shakiness. He tactfully didn’t mention it.
“It’s a weird sensation at first, but it’s a lot of fun. Trust me.”
Or, Jon reluctantly allows a smidgeon of fun to enter his life and … consequences follow.

Come one and come all to a space in the Magnus multiverse in which the "archives" portion of our beloved institute has been buried away for nearly a decade, only to recently be restored and rebuilt anew for reasons unknown. What statements will be resurfaced and revisited by the archival assistants of the Magnus Institute, Oxford?
This is an entirely fan-made universe within the Magnus multiverse that I have personally crafted as a GM playing the Magnus Archives RPG by Monte Cook Games with my friends! I thought it would be fun to share my fan-made written statements that I have created for the purposes of our RPG. Please keep in mind that any familiar canon characters will not be canon compliant, as they are not exactly the same, but I will still include them in the character tags as I go. I'll be posting these statements as my friends receive them, as to avoid spoilers for my players! ;)
Final disclaimer: I am, quite frankly, very American. I'm doing a lot of extensive research for these statements, but please suspend your disbelief that this will feel authentically written by a British person and everything will be locationally accurate. It probably will not be, but let the record show I tried.

"Statement of Jonathan Sims regarding..."
"This book right here. A Guest For Mr. Spider." The young child in front of Elias took a storybook out of his bag and placed it on the desk.
"Regarding a book called 'A Guest For Mr. Spider'. Statement recorded directly from subject, twenty-seventh of July, 1997 by Elias Bouchard, head of the Magnus Institute. Statement begins."
---------------------------------------
Jon's father, a man named Elias, was someone Jon had never really known. If not for his grandmother, he likely would have never met the man, but she insisted on Elias coming over periodically after his mother died.Though Jonah initially wants to keep the child away, Gertrude and her assistants take a liking to the boy, and he soon becomes a frequent visitor to the Institute. Jonah's interest in Jon grows as it seems like The Eye has set its sights on the boy, and as their more frequent contact causes episodes where Elias momentarily regains control.
A story about fathers, sons, love, atonement, and redemption.

Summary
“You’re Helen?” he had asked, a stupid question, really, of course it was not Helen, not really, Helen Richardson was dead. He already knew the answer, but his heart still sank at the reply.
“I don’t know. I never know, not really. Do I need a name?”
“I suppose not,” he’d replied, out of defeat more than anything, but he hadn't truly meant it. All things had a name, even if they did not know or understand it. He had a name, Jonathan Sims, even if he was different; it was still him, his name was still his.
-Or-
A look into Jon's head after the Helen Incident and why her having Helen Richardson's face scares him so deeply.
