those words slightly haunted Pain as hurt by the one his first love interest... then he became the eldest son of Hades after Hades trial for the Titan accident...then find out he is BEROTHED to the very one that hurt him...Pegasus as a way to show Olympus and the underworld are united now (as Rhea forced Zeus to rule Olympus with his 5 other siblings)
but Hera the one that organized this with Hades put a enchantment on Pain as a way to help Pain get revenge on Pegasus: Pegasus must gain Pain's trust and touch him any kind of touch and then Pain must agree to his arranged 'marriage' and take Pegasus as his first male mate (greek imps can have multiple mates) but with a smile Hera said to Pain: you can be a runaway bride and make Pegasus work to hunt you down for hurting you
but there is a small catch since Pain can't enter the underworld or leave the Hercules kingdom...till he has a child with the winged horse, so now a runaway 'bride' Pain tries to live a peaceful life...that's until Pegasus find him and finally manages to touch him

Hades is scrambling for a new plan after pulling himself out of the Styx. Penned in on on all sides by the consequences of his actions, the first stroke of good luck he's ever had suddenly appears in the Underworld - a dead shepherd boy with a grudge against Zeus.
Then a new star appears in the sky and the Fates declare an end to the age of the gods. Redemption, not revenge, is their only hope.
CW; Not for fans of Zeus, really. Nothing is said out loud, but there heavy implications about the original Ganymede myth, so best go in forewarned. Also, I've tried to stay away from the animated series bc I wanted to keep the movie lore under control, idk. It's all James Woods but it's not all the movie scriptwriters, you know?
