Summary
Sealand is abducted in the middle of the night by a mysterious man with an upside-down face. His destination is the Circus of the Disquieting, a creepy traveling circus with more than just skeletons in its closet. Its owner, Herman Fuller, has been abducting supernatural children from other dimensions to use as attractions and performers, and he's taken an interest in Peter's nigh-invulnerability. However, as more children trickle in and Fuller's greed swells, Peter's suffering begins to grow. The children begin to plan an escape but, as they soon learn, leaving the circus is a much more difficult task than entering it.
