“Kujo, we’ve talked about this,” Noriaki begins patiently. He is suddenly so, so tired, “Thank you, but I really don’t want your help now.”
Kujo doesn’t seem to have as much patience as he, unlike the first time, pushes, “Why is it so hard for you to get help?”
“It’s not the help that I don’t want, it’s-” Noriaki finds himself at a loss for words. He wants to be helped so badly, but he can’t have that from the hands that look so much like ones that have been on his lips, in his hair, under his knees, hands that have drilled a hole in his head. And there’s no way of explaining that without garnering disgust; no way of letting Kujo touch him without making himself retch.

Jolyne just slept like a log the entire night, never moving once as he stared in amazement, watching as the hours tick by. He was in so much disbelief about this that he stayed up the entire night, only to realize this when Jolyne cried for his attention and how bright the nursery looked from the light pouring into it. He thought this was a stroke of luck, something that will only happen once in a blue moon and he might experience the sleepiness night the next day, but it never happened.
Even months later, Jotaro is still shocked about this, but he is happy that Jolyne gets a full night’s rest, just pleased to see her smile in the morning, loudly squealing when she sees him, making him feel like a million dollars.
Though, that doesn’t mean Jolyne has her bad nights.
And today was one of them.
