Summary
Astarion’s luck has been shit since the moment his Master Cazador Szaar turned him. Force to sell himself to anyone for his master's pleasure, for the last one hundred years, Astarion has meandered through the streets of Baldur’s Gate with no hope for the future. However, his luck changed one night when a mysterious entity approached and gave him the ability to escape his cruel master.
Now, on the run, and in a bid to stay free, Astarion found himself trusting the wrong persons which put him on the path to Qyunn, a mysterious drow, who holds an even more mysterious and substantial power.
Qyunn is locked away in a place he can not escape, a place Astarion falls into that is equally fascinating and terrifyingly deadly. Inexplicably drawn to Qyunn, Astarion finds himself pulled into a world even more dangerous than the one he came from, and he learns that there are worse things out there than cruel vampire masters.
As he falls deeper into this terrifying place between places, Astarion finds if he doesn’t find a way out, he won’t ever be able to leave it. But the closer he grows to Qyunn, he begins to wonder…does he want to?

Summary
A year after saving Baldur's Gate, Nytheris, a reclusive warlock, and Astarion, a masterless vampire spawn, search for something that will restore meaning to their lives. After the war. After revenge.
But the connection to an ancient book awakens a dark power in Nytheris. Dangerous... and very old.
This story is an emotional, reimagined epilogue to Baldur's Gate 3, and a love letter to Astarion and the great character he is.
If you're a fan of the series, of Astarion, or love stories with a D&D campaign feel, this is your place at the table.
⚠️ This story has a mature tone. It includes references to trauma, depression, complex relationships, blood, fantasy violence, abuse, murder, suggested sex, and hellish pacts.
The narrative isn't explicit, but it addresses sensitive topics with emotional depth. Discretion is advised.

The Anarchist’s Guide to the Forgotten Realms: Rebuilding a Broken System for 1772 DR by whisper_that_dares

Summary
Let’s take a wrecking ball to vanilla Forgotten Realms and the lazy tropes that plague fantasy worldbuilding! Using Forgotten Realms as a case study in good and bad worldbuilding, it dismantles incoherent magic systems, economic hand-waving, colonial narratives, and the myth of the rugged individualist. But it’s more than a setting critique: it’s a toolkit for building worlds that make sense. If your fantasy has magic, gods, or resurrection, it should also have consequences. If your cities thrive, they should have food, laws, and logic. Whether you’re writing novels, running campaigns, or crafting lore, this guide is for creators who believe internal consistency isn’t optional — it’s everything.

Summary
What if you are no longer able to distinguish between dream and reality?
You find yourself lost in dreams with your favorite travel companion and lover, Astarion. The problem? Astarion is a character from your favorite video game. Or is he?
If you are as deeply attached to Astarion as I am and have your mental health under control (as I mostly do), feel free to keep reading and enjoy the angst, the smut, and the hopefully (though I can't guarantee) good ending. Please mind the warnings in the notes section.
Comments are welcome.
Enjoy.

Summary
“Speaking of combat— why would a nun need to know how to wield a blade?”
“You must remember that I wasn’t just ‘a nun’ worshipping a god of ‘flowers and peace.’ I refrained from violence, but I still served the god of suffering. You’d be surprised at the burdens people ask you to take from them.”
He watched as she rubbed her arm again, the same faint spot just below her pulse. Her eyes once again turned hollow, fading into a sort of trance. He wondered if that was an Ilmater trait, perhaps one to keep his followers acting accordingly. “Does a god forgive someone who asks you to kill for them?”
“I’m not sure. Does a god forgive the one who says yes?”

A collection of short stories chronicling the maybe legit, maybe nonsense adventures of an original D&D character I play. He's a smug, cocky wolfkind pirate who loves himself more than anything and never shuts up, and now he's got an audience willing to put up with him for a night.

Summary
Prologue
The town of Oakfall lies two weeks away from the reach of civilization, embraced tightly by a vast yet silent forest. Surrounded by a dense county of towering trees, this humble mining village has fiercely learned to be self-dependent, only parting with the treasures unearthed from its deep mines to nearby villages and cities when desperation looms. Perhaps because of this deliberate seclusion, Oakfall swiftly fell prey to relentless monster attacks just months
after its founding. Yet, over time, the resilient townsfolk adapted to the forest’s many dangers, discovering they no longer needed outside help to stand their ground. But now, everything has changed once more, and the fragile sense of security teeters on the edge of unraveling.Communication with the town was abruptly severed just days after they had urgently reached out for help. In their reports, the townspeople desperately describe how Wyverns now haunt their streets at night—picking off isolated residents and spreading a strange, unrecognizable sickness among them. They also speak of a mighty dragon that has claimed a nearby nest, prowling the surrounding woods with a quiet menace, as if patiently biding its time for something ominous.

Summary
Hello traveller!
You seem to have found yourself in my collection of supplementary short stories for my DnD Campaign, depicting the lives of our NPCs outside of the Players' interactions.
A warning, this is written for my players, and as such much of the canon and story is reliant on the story we have woven within our campaign. It will most likely be a little hard to follow for that reason. It will also not be nessecarily be chronological. These vignettes will be released based on thier progression through the story we are crafting in game.
If you decide to stay awhile and read on, I hope you enjoy.
Welcome to Eberron.
