Summary
What if more then horror came back to Westeros? Those that was thought to be gone and nearly erased from fables back. They could not stop one injustice for those they have called blood with word reaching them too late but they manage to stop another that will tear those brought together even more. Distance is plenty but they have manage to find ways to shorten it. What was once forgotten for many reasons return with joy and love but contention and weariness for others.

Summary
Frustrated with the War of the Five Kings, Domeric Bolton deserts the Northern army and rescues Sansa Stark from King’s Landing.
Part war story, part chivalric romance, part tragic irony, major Cerebus Syndrome. A look at the weight of curses and at Roose Bolton as a husband and a father. A darkfic with a light at the end of the tunnel, partly inspired by Dante Alighieri’s La Vita Nuova.
This mostly follows book canon until midway through ASOS, but I have used the ages from the show. Fun fact, if you play the Game of Thrones CK2 mod and start at Robert’s Rebellion, take a look at Roose’s court and you’ll find Domeric, a poet from the tender age of four.

Jon Snow would not be the first to be both the blood of the Kings of Winter and the Dragonlords, or even be the first to bear the name Jon Snow. Nearly 150 years before the War of the Five Kings and War for the Dawn there was another Jon Snow, one who much like his namesake was hungry for glory and honor. Yet where his namesake went North to the Wall and beyond, the first went south with his Lord Father to fight in the Young Dragon's conquest of Dorne. In his battles he would find love and friendship, honor and glory, and death and betrayal. This is not a tale one hears below the Neck where the Targaryens ruled in truth as well as name, and even in the North it is a sad tale rarely shared with outsiders as such a tale result in accusations of lies, yet the truth is not so easily forgotten in the North. The North Remembers its murdered heirs and the broken promises.
