  • I was catching up on the current flash run
  • rereading the absolute flash titles we have
  • and reading the Impulse 95 run at the same time
  • and then this was born
  • Post-Comic: Absolute Flash #01

  • In that I decided to put Bart Allen into the Absolute Flash universe at the end of issue 5 for fun and whimsy
  • unfortunately the next issue isn't out
  • so I had to stop
  • because the premise is
  • absolute flash but Bart Allen is along for the ride
  • as is Linda
  • Speed Force (DCU)
  • Speed force shenanigans

  • I might continue this once the next issue comes out
  • Linda might be OOC
  • I'm still newer to the flash comics
  • so I know her mostly from the current run and the beginning of Impulse 95
  • but she's cool and I love her
  • and deserves to be a menace as a teenager
  • anyways no beta we die like anyone who dons the flash mantle

  Summary

  Let it be said that Bartholomew Allen had absolutely no fucking idea how he got here.
  Well, scratch that.
  He knew how- his world hopping tendencies were known and warned about multiple times. However, considering that, oh, the multiverse was technically supposed to be gone (unlikely) and inaccessible (more likely), he figured as he made a hop in his spare time into the speed force he wouldn’t fall back into old habits and other worlds. He’d go on a run, maybe get a souvenir from wherever he popped out for Ace and the West siblings, and then be right back before Max noticed he was missing for too long.
  The Speedforce, it seemed, had other plans.
  Shouldn’t it be on maternity leave?
