    A quick, unfinished story having to do with a young Quasimodo, who is only into his first year of being the bell ringer at just 14 years old. This was intended to explore the timeline of Quasimodo slowly losing bits of his hearing over time until it was nearly all gone, since it was of particular interest to the writer of Quasimodo and I at the time. This one was clearly started over last Christmas Eve.

    “I don’t like the sound of you needing advice from me,” Courfeyrac said. “Did you kill someone? Do you need my expertise on who around here knows what-”
    “I think I’m in love with someone.” Enjolras whispered. Why is this so embarrassing?
    “Love,” Courfeyrac echoed. “That’s a big sentiment. Tell me what happened.”

Twenty-eight years later, the city sees him returning as a disfigured street performer under the stage name of Gwynplaine. He has no memory of his past. But when dark secrets are revealed, and the truth of his identity is unveiled, the cursed city that took everything from him shows itself still hungry.

     

    Basically I put Batman characters into the plot of The Man who Laughs by Victor Hugo (1896), of which the 1928 movie will inspire Joker’s character ) . I particularly drew from these media’s storylines and characterization:
