He cocked his head to one side as he spoke with gravel in his voice. His eyes scanned down her body, surveying her chest rising and falling with increasingly irregularity. Her ragged breathing seemed to flick a switch in him, his drowsiness dissipating. She stumbled backward as he stepped forward, his eyes hungry.
