Summary
This night was no different. As ever, Navarre was in his dreams, a fleeting insubstantial presence, leaving a bitter ache of longing for what could never be his. In his dreams he remembered Navarre’s arms around him. His love, the only thing in the world he most wanted, the one thing in the world he could not steal.

Summary
Once Imperius remembered telling him that he had become lost in the tragic story of Navarre and Isabeau, but now he realised that Phillipe had gone beyond that. Further than lost, his young friend had become part of it, caught up and captured in his own hopeless love for the man who spent his nights in the shape of a wolf.

Summary
This is not really fan fiction. I haven't written any fiction or read very much in a very long time.
It's more of an outline - I tried to pinpoint when the story could have happened. Clues include:
Dates and paths of solar eclipses,
Isabeau's father was a Count of Anjou, and killed at Antioch in the Crusades.Clues to ignore:
The plague was not the Black Death, but rather a lesser plague not in the history books.
Aquila is likely not the modern-day l'Aquila, Italy.
Someone mentioned that the style of Navarre's sword was not used in the 1200's. Well, his family had this one-of-a-kind sword made especially for them. -

Summary
Once upon a time, a guard captain of the Seminarium met a young lay student from Anjou who had come to study arcana with the Bishop.
But really, Philippe would rather they leave him right out of their heroic tale, thank you very much. He has no intention of being caught up in such unprofitable and dangerous nonsense.

Summary
The bishop comes to her every night, a little after the change, to demand she submit to him. Only then, he tells her every night, will the curse be lifted. Occasionally, he rages at her when she gives her inevitable refusal. Often, he lies to her. Etienne Navarre is dead, he says. She knows it is a lie. She would know. She must believe she would know. Startlingly often, the bishop is calm. Self-satisfied. He behaves as though he has all the time in the world for her resolve to crumble. Perhaps he does; perhaps immortality is among his dark gifts. The thought makes her shiver.

Summary
When Philippe Gaston virtuously embarked on a quest to the monastery he was raised, nobly (to his mind, at least) sacrificing the company of Isabeau d'Anjou and Etienne de Navarre, he never imagined that an encounter with two old not-quite-friends would leave him in need of a rescue. But magic, it seems, is not done with Etienne and Isabeau any more than it is with Philippe, and it'll take all three of them to get Philippe home.

Summary
“Beneditemi padre, perché ho peccato... ho avuto pensieri impuri verso quell’uomo... Io non ho mai provato niente di simile prima d’ora...” confessò Isabeau, abbassando le ciglia lunghe e leggere come ali di farfalla, mentre il monaco si ritrovò preda di una sorta di pallida invidia per quella rivelazione innocente, ma piena di significato.”- Language:

Summary
This is an alternate ending to Ladyhawke inspired by Matthew Broderick's performance. No disrespect to Broderick but I couldn't stop seeing Ferris Bueller throughout the movie.
